I was watching the bats emerge from the window of the old church this evening, and it was fascinating. It is obvious that a lot of bats are back for the summer.

Great feedback today.  I have been watching these bats this morning moving considerably inside their roost .  Of course young have already been born at this point and I'm dying to try to catch a glimpse of some late year nursing which is not easily seen.  Just imagine in another few years these will be live video streams and with wireless technology improving a bat cam in every bat house may be a reasonable reality!
