Has anyone here ever done an acoustic survey using their bat detector? Seems like it might be good for those of us who have one to start using it to collect some data.

This description is targeted at biologists but it sounds pretty simple - just mount your bat detector on your car roof, hook it to a recorder/laptop and drive a 30 mile loop several times a summer.
