For some reason a bat attached itself to the outside of my bat house last night. It moved in the open when the sun came up today. I got a ladder to get closer to it for a photo. The photos came out pretty good. The tiny bats I have seen for a few years in small numbers appear to be pipistrelles. Take a look and see what you think. Relocating two bat houses appears to have upset the little bats and no bats have been using the relocated houses. The tiny bats have a lot of pink on their wings and don't have the black mask that little browns do. Also they are smaller. I counted about a dozen little browns about midnight last night. There were two of the smaller bats.
