I recently installed a security camera with night vision at the apex of my roof on the side of the house. Here's my poor attempt at an illustration. The little circle above the attic vent is the camera.

So I started reviewing my recordings and noticed bats flying up to the attic vent. Here's one of them.

I immediately thought they were roosting in my attic. Upon investigating I found no bats but a large amount of guano accumulating against the outside of the attic vent screen at the bottom of the attic vent box. The attic vent box screen has no holes and I don't see any other entry points. The only thing I can think of is maybe bugs are gathering near the vent and when they're flying up towards the camera to catch them they poop at the same time? Do they even do that? Or do you think they actually roosted there at some point? I don't know much about bats. I hope you can help. I'm mostly just curious about what's happening in the video. Any insight would be appreciated.
