This summers bat count is close to last year which was my very first year to house bats. I counted 26 Little Brown bats on exit last night. I am not sure how many young they have had this season. I'll give a good look again tonight to see if there are any pups left behind as the bats exit. The most I counted last year was 25 Little Browns. Again a busy summer for me but I will check on the bats before I have to leave for a Salmon derby next weekend. My wife is busy with our Martins and the Bats are my project. I did have 4 Big Brown bats in the houses eariler this summer.
