Did anyone catch Car Talk today? The last caller was complaining about bats roosting in his garage and wondered about leaving a car running with the door closed to kill the bats. Tom & Ray convinced him not to do that, and told him to call his local Extension Service or the wildlife department of the local college for advice. During the conversation Ray mentioned that he has a bat house. I thought that was pretty cool!

exhaust....Has three bay, two story garage that has bats in it. Wants to start all the cars and then close the garage doors and euthanize bats. Would that work? Tom and ray it would be cruel and inhumane, and probably wouldn't work--suggest he consult bat/wildlife expert for a better way to convince the bats to leave.

That is good to hear.......that Ray was knowledgeble enough to steer that guy in the right direction........
