I noticed a couple weeks ago that it appeared that my 4 bats left.........well I started seeing some guano, looked in the bat house and noticed 1 female with 2 pups on each side of her. I'm not sure what happened to the other 3 bats but there are definitely 2 pups in there.

 Great news Batman! It does seem odd that there only appears to be one female with twins, but then again witnessing just a single mother bat and her young is very cool to see. I wouldn't be surprised if your bat house increases substantially in numbers next year.

  Am I correct in assuming this is your 4 chamber rocket box? It's a wonderful design and I bet it will be able to house a pretty large colony. I am looking forward to the future of your bat house and the bats that occupy it!

 I hadn't checked your profile in awhile untill tonight and saw the photos of your 4 chamber octagon rocket as well. That is a beautiful looking house, and I would guess that it offers a very wide range of temperatures for bats to choose from...it definitely falls into the catagory of an aesthetically pleasing bat house that people would be proud to have in their yard!
