I have 1 possible location to put up a bat house.   This is an area with NO bat houses.  Within 1/4 mile of water.   

I'm thinking that the Rocket Box may give the best options for sun/temp/direction, etc.

What are the Pros & Cons about the Rocket Box?

The only con I think of for a rocket box is they can sometimes fill up quicker with wasp nests because of the narrow crevice width. Other than that they are a very good choice.

Thanks for the input.  That's important here because of over-abundance of wasps.

Does anyone else have any experience to share?

Go for the rocket.  It is an outstanding design for single mounting and ease of maintenance etc.
