They are acrylic, fired onto die-cut copper (with gold-filled wires).
...She and I are artists (of sorts) and because of the way we are, when we make stuff we want to share it... so we end up giving each other things we make. I made her a warm, crocheted winter hat that looks better on her than anything she ever bought in a store, and she made me these lovely, lovely earrings!! Such an uncommon treasure.
