Bat House Forum

I am new to batting. I wanted to put up a couple houses but the neighborhhod is kind of snooty so I was thinking about the 10" bat cans offered by BCM. Does anyone have experience with them? I would not expect bats this year but am hoping the scouts are out for next year. We have trees and a small stream nearby but as I mentioned, live in a subdivision near baltimore. What are my chances? I've also been reading about White Nose Syndrome. Are you all seeing fewer bats? Thanks.
