I took a photo tonight and saw a freetail for sure in with the Little Browns. The freetail maternity colony left in April and did not come back. I spotted one for sure and a few other suspects due to their gray looking color. If you look on the far left of the middle chamber you will see a gray looking bat which has ears that almost meet in the middle. That is a freetail. The Little browns have a wider space between their ears and are brown in color. The ears are a sure way to identify freetails along with the gray looking color.
I am feeling better now and plan to reinstall their favorite house on a pole away from the tree where it is now located.
