Thanks Joe,
I envy you lot over in the States. You seem to have trained your bats to love the multiple compartment boxes. I have about 30x spread all over the countryside and city parks but they're not keen. Occasionally I have maybe 3 or 4 in them, but definitely no nursery established. I've got them mounted back to back, front to side, up in the air on stilts (like War of the Worlds). Nope, they're not that interested.... At the moment I'm trying to improve the insulated qualities of the small boxes that I make. It's very difficult though. I'm finding the radiant heat builds up in such a small area. The next model I'm trying is a rocket style design. It'll be a long narrow square hollow wrapped around with ,a dash of Australian flavour, corrigated iron. Might even paint it with some dot paintings....like the aboriginals do here. Maybe that would bring them.....
cheers
Joe.
