Hello All,

I have a friend that lives in Camarillo Ca. The problem is they have somewhere in the neighborhood of 300-500 bats that come every summer to live in his roof. How do you go about getting rid of them. He called a pest control company who said they dealt with bats. The guy came out got on his ladder took a look, eyes got big and never came back. Is building a house for them the way to go? I say give them a "Condo" to live in and maybe they will go there. How do you get them to switch locations.

With that many bats if you put up some bat boxes close by they will use them............then you can go about excluding them from the residence after pups are flying..........I believe in the shotgun strategy...........the more boxes the better.........mount at least one on the home and at least one on a pole...........
