Here is a shot from tonight around 7:55pm -- a few minutes before they all came out. First 110 came out in semi-orderly fashion. Then after a good 10 minute lull , the rest came out like someone pushed them out! Almost too many to get a good count. About 10 minutes after all seemed to be out , others started returning. They were dipping up in/out of the house, and swarming around it . A few looked like they were chasing one another. . Quite a scene, and solid noise on my bat receiver. This is what I saw last year by notes on my calender just before they had pups. Still only 1lagre bats is using the larger house 6" away or so!
After storms we had last night in NW LA-wonder how they made it back if they ventured too far-figured they would have ended up in Miss. ! Randy Haughton, La

Thats an awesome sight. I hope either my house or the big one I built for my friend gets some action this year. It took me five years to get martins so I know you have to be patient.
