I love the (unfinished) quote by Susi von Oettingen at about 2:25 into the video. Reporter notices mosquitoes on the researcher and asks "Shouldn't the bats be eating these mosquitoes?" And Susi replies "I think of mosquitoes for these bats as potato chips"

May write her and see if she remembers what the video editor sniped off at the end. Makes a great quote if any case and I plan to re listen to the video and correct any errors in my transcribing.

Once again sad about funding but nice that finally a little more national attention there. Thanks Dave. Cave bats are in trouble and I see this spreading further west soon. Humans likely screwing things up without realizing it. Similarities with a global world economy and Asian and other invasive species.
