I don't know about the camera as I have never used one. Try it and see. Please rig some kind of safety harness when you block the louver this fall after the bats leave. Tie a rope to the bed or something. I had a big brown bat spend last night in my largest most ventilated house which has a large white roof.
Just one bat and wasps. They are really bad this year in my bat houses. The 3/4 inch crevice spacing has kept them from making a nest I think. This Big
Brown is in the lone 1 inch chamber next to the ventilation which includes the entrance, two slots across the bat house front, and a ventilated roof above the chamber. There is also a ventilation slot in the back. Slots are all around 3/4 inch guestimation but not measured. This is the first season on this box. No colonies have used it but several single bats so far. It is a cedar box on a metal pole.

Saw three yesterday, two in old threads and one new topic but this is not one of the threads I saw them in.

Lots of weird things lately, last week I checked this forum early one morning and every thing for the past few months was missing. Made a post asking about what had happened and by that evening all the missing posts were back and only my inquiry was gone.
