My brother, husband, and sons just finished building me a HUGE BAT CONDO along the river bank at Pend Oreille River (pond - o - ray) in Washington state (Cusick, WA). It should hold about 15,000 little brown bats. It's 8' square, peak is about 20 ', base of house about 11' up. We sided it with log siding left over from our house, and green shingled the roof. Still have a few details to complete, but if you're curious, check out all the pics on my FB page (pics to big for this site, I don't know how to "make them smaller"
